Swim-cation...

We planned a little weekend getaway to celebrate summer and to spend some uninterrupted time together.  I was still coughing, but was happy to have a chance to rest and relax.

The house we stayed in had a fun putting green and a big pool.  We really didn't do much besides, swim, shop, and play.

Snack time.

It didn't take the kids long to get brave and start jumping off the rocks.

And then child #1 got sick.

Ryder had no problem getting around the pool with his floaties on.  He will have to give them up for swimming lessons though.  :)

Brityn was jumping off and swimming to the side all on her own.

Sawyer liked to hang out on the step or float around with us in the pool.

Even the sick girl could not resist getting in the water, sort of.

Leightyn loved the water.

Sawyer found himself a nice place for a nap!  It was great to get away, but nice to come home and sleep in our own beds.  The rest of the kids quickly followed with a headache and a cough and a few throw-ups once we got home.  It is a chorus of coughs here.  :(

Children's Museum...

We arrived right before they opened the doors.  The kids love this museum!

Changing tires and working on the car.

The grocery store is a favorite.

Blowing BIG bubbles.

The Blue Man Group exhibit is another favorite.  The kids love banging on these pipes!

Sawyer loved the balls.  Can you tell what his favorite color is?

Another big thanks to Arielle for helping me this week.  She is awesome and we LOVE her!

Blown away.

Always a fun day.  The kids are already asking me when we can go back.
