Student of the Month...

Kendyl was so excited that she was chosen as the Student of the Month for her class.

She lined up early and we all went to go see her get her award.

I sat by Brityn and her kindergarten class so I could take pictures.

Kendyl and her principal, Mrs. Popolo.

Congratulations Kendyl!!! We are so proud of you!!!

Sawyer's 1st haircut...

Sawyer's hair doesn't really look long, but he had some long wispy strands that stuck out over his ears in the back.

So he got his first trim! He was very happy to sit on the stool and smile for the camera. :)

A little unsure what was buzzing around his ear, but he stayed still.

We seriously trimmed a couple of inches off the back.

Not so happy any more! :(

All clean with a handsome haircut!

Valentine's Day...

We finally got over the flu last month and it seems like we have had some sort of cold or allergies this month. Not much to blog when wiping a lot of running noses! We did manage to have a fun Valentine's Day though!

These valentine's were such a big hit last year, the girls both wanted to do them again this year.

You can't go wrong with a big heart-shaped chocolate chip cookie!

For breakfast, I made heart-shaped toast. The kids loved them so much I practically went through a loaf of bread. :)

The girls were so happy they got to come home with one of their cookies. It was the first thing they ate when they got home.

Tutu and Papa Jack were here for the weekend too and brought balloons for the kids. Tutu was really nice and babysat for us so Steve and I could go out to dinner. Thanks for the night out!

Happy Love Day!

The "Bib"inator...

No more bibs for Sawyer...this kid does NOT want one on! He can look you in the eye and smile at you the whole time he is 'terminating' his bib. He keeps it on for about 30 seconds and then he is pulling it off. And if he can't get it off he just cries until you help him get it off. And it is not enough to just take the bib off either...it has to go on the floor too!! (Along with anything else he is not interested in eating!) Good thing he is so cute and I don't mind the extra laundry!
