Flippin' New Year's Eve...

We took the kids to Flip N Out for one last activity for 2013.

 

 

Sawyer finally had fun going down the slide all by himself!  Yay!

A fun end to a fun-filled year.  Here's hoping 2014 is even better!  Happy New Year!

Valley of Fire...

We drove out to Valley of Fire on Monday and enjoyed some gorgeous weather.

 

 

And took a little hike out to Balancing Rock.

 

Then we went on a longer hike to Mouse's Tank.

 

 

We saw some petroglyphs along the way.

 

And climbed all over the rocks.

 

Steve found an ear.

 

We reached Mouse's Tank.

 

And turned around to head back.

 

Sawyer and Leightyn were done hiking before the end.  :)

 

We all had to empty the powdery soft sand out of our shoes.

 

Then we went to see Rainbow Rock.

 

And a hike to White Domes for the older kids.
