Principal for the day...

Brityn read an astounding number of books this year!  She worked hard taking AR (advanced reader) tests to get a total of 500 AR points so she could be principal for the day.  She was one of only 2 students in the elementary school to reach this goal.

She spent the day with Ms. Kelley (the principal), Ms. Lackey (the assistant principal) and Mr. Phillips (the MS/HS principal) helping in the office, lunch duty, checking on awards for the awards ceremonies, and any other duties/jobs prinicpals do.  :)  She even got to have lunch with the principal (she picked Subway).

And she got her own walkie talkie.  :)

Splash pad...

We had a fun preschool party with Ms. Kellie at the splash pad.  The kids had a blast and Ms. Kellie was a really good sport letting the kids soak her!

Kendyl awards...

Kendyl received multiple awards for Middle School this year including Outstanding Citizenship, Honor Roll, Outstanding Student for Math, Outstanding Student for Science, and Outstanding Student for English.

We are so proud of you Kendyl!!  Great job!!

Emmaline...

Alisa came to visit for a couple of days with her daughter Emmaline.  The kids LOVED LOVED LOVED playing with Emmaline!  We are excited to see them all summer!

Preschool graduation #2...

Sawyer attended Ms. Kellie's preschool class on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  He loved playing with all of his friends at Ms. Kellie's!  He became an excellent reader and LOVED Ms. Kellie's treasure box (she had the best toys)!

Band concert...

Kendyl has really enjoyed playing in band this year and learning to play the flute!  She has done a great job of practicing and sounds better and better!

Memorial Day...

We had our annual ward pancake breakfast and 5k in the morning and then we headed to the cemetary and out to Bunkerville to put flowers on the graves.  The kids enjoy going and it gives them a sense of their heritage and forefathers.  We appreciate those who have gone before us and set a wonderful example of faith and fortitude.

Miss Heather's preschool graduation...

Sawyer went to two preschool classes this year.  He loved going to Miss Heather's on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  She was awesome at encouraging him to read more challenging books and always had new ones for him to read each week.  Sawyer had lots of fun doing centers, making crafts and playing with friends.

Ryder is Student of the Month!
