Brityn at 6...

Brityn had a lovely birthday weekend. She was sung to in Primary today and got more birthday treats. She got to pick the lunch and dinner menu and play with her new toys today. She said she wished her birthday was everyday!


At 6, Brityn is a sweet girl. She loves to help out, when it is her idea, and can be a very fun big sister, when she is not teasing her brothers. She is a smart girl who picks things up very quickly and is an excellent reader. She loves school and is enjoying 1st grade. She loves to say prayers and read her scriptures and is always quick to give compliments or to say something nice to someone. She loves to laugh and have fun, but can throw a good fit when she is upset. She has quite the personality and we love having her as a part of our family. We love you Brityn!

Birthday presents...

We did let Brityn open her presents the night before her actual birthday. Sunday birthdays are hard and Steve leaves early for meetings so...she was quite happy to be able to play with her birthday stuff all day today.





She started with Aunt Kaylene's present that arrived in the mail yesterday. Thank you!

She loved Kendyl's handwritten birthday card telling her what a great sister she is!



Ryder and Sawyer were begging for a chance to help her open presents.

She was super excited to get more dress-up clothes. She LOVES dress-up!



And Ryder, being the wonderful brother that he is, got her the new Barbie movie.

And while he was happy to get it for her, he does NOT like to watch the Barbie movies! :)

Thank you Aunt Margaret for the gift card! She can't wait to go shopping! :)

Happy 6th Birthday Brityn!

Brityn has been very excited to turn 6! She started her birthday celebrations on Friday with treats for her class at school. We decided to do most of her celebrating on Saturday since her birthday is on Sunday this year.


She picked a jump house/slide combo for her birthday celebrations. These are great because they drop it off at about 7am and leave it all day until 6 or 7 at night. The kids love it and they get all day to play.

Sawyer was a little hesitant to get in and jump, but after a while, he figured it out and had a great time.

Ryder's 1st day of preschool...

Ryder was very excited to go to his 1st day of preschool on Thursday. He kept asking me everyday since we went to his orientation if today was the day. Unfortunately for him, he got sick on Monday, so missed his actual first day, but he was all better and ready to go on Thursday.





His teacher is Miss Sariah and she is very nice and he loves that he gets to play with dinos and cars and outside! They have a slide and sandbox and a basketball hoop so this boy is in heaven!

We are also doing another preschool with friends that he gets to start today, but he said I didn't need to take pictures of him again. :) Have fun Ryder, you are getting so big!
