Lunch date...

Last Friday lunch date with these two cuties before school gets out for the summer!  Cheesecake Factory is always yummy!

Sawyer's Preschool Graduation...

Activity Days...

I don't normally post pics from Activity Days, but this activity was so hilarious I couldn't help myself.  The girls were doing a bunch of Minute-to-Win-It activities and this one had them wearing shower caps with shaving cream on it.  Their partner then had to throw cheese puffs at their head and the one that had the most sticking to their head was the winner.  We were laughing so hard!

Brityn wasn't too happy that I took this picture, but trust me, they were all laughing when they were throwing the cheese puffs!!!  Food fight!

Memorial Day...

Our ward did a 5K bike/run in the morning followed by a pancake breakfast.  Steve and Kendyl rode their bikes and Brityn rode her scooter for the 5K.

After breakfast we headed to the cemetary to put flowers on Great Grandma and Grandpa Hardy's graves.

Then we drove out to Bunkerville to put flowers on more family graves.

And you just can't miss Dudley Leavitt's huge memorial.

Cleaning crew...

I found a recipe for grout cleaner on Pinterest so I set the kids to work with toothbrushes (plenty of those around here!).  The little ones thought it looked fun so they joined in too!

I should have taken before and after pictures, but I forgot.  The grout does look very clean thanks to my fantastic cleaning crew!

6th Grade Awards...

Kendyl received the President's Award for Outstanding Academic Excellence, Stallion Citizenship Award, Stallion Growth Award for Math, Stallion Growth Award for Reading, Stallion Scholar, and Teacher's Choice Award for Music.

Leightyn was VERY sad, when Brityn and Ryder went off to class.  She wanted to go play outside so bad and was not happy to have to stay at the assembly.

Kendyl was very surprised and honored to receive the Teacher's Choice Award from Ms. G.

Great job Kendyl!!! Congratulations on all your awards and for completing 6th grade!

Lasik...

I finally decided to ditch the glasses and contacts and get Lasik surgery done.  I had to spend about a month wearing glasses, and I was a little nervous before the surgery, but after it was over, I was amazed!

Steve wanted to come see the surgery, so he brought Sawyer and Leightyn while Grandpa Jerry came down and took the 3 older kids to Kendyl's choir concert.  Thanks to Grandpa Jerry for helping us out!  The staff at Dr. Brimhall's office was the best and even brought out pizza for these guys while they waited!

Steve got to come in and watch while I had both eyes corrected.  It really was done in a matter of minutes and relatively painless.  Highly recommend Dr. Brimhall if anyone is contemplating Lasik!!

After the surgery, I went home and went to bed, but I was amazed the next morning that I could read street signs clearly and was able to drive myself to my follow up appointment!  It really has been so awesome to not have to worry about contacts and wind and taking naps without worrying that my contacts will be dry!  Can't wait to go swimming and be able to see!
